State of Vape: What’s The Future of Vaping?

The eJuices.com team has done its best to keep you up to date on vaping legislation and regulations. This focus is mainly on the present. But what about vaping several years from now? Will vaping be a completely different experience than top-fill mods and disposables? Could the flavors be completely different? What sorts of innovations will change the literal state of vape?

Right now, we are in the midst of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This means that any sort of mass gatherings are severely restricted. Want to go out to the bar or club with your friends? Want to watch your favorite band live in concert? That won’t happen until at least fall 2021 at the earliest. However, what about bringing a sense of normal back to a post-COVID-19 society? Production Club seeks to do just that. Their invention, the Micrashell, claims to bring the ultimate in PPE to make sure everyone can live life just as it was before.

What Does This Have To Do With Vaping?

One of the features on the Micrashell is the snap-in canister for vaping. There is also another canister for alcoholic beverages, but there’s no indication that you can use both for vaping (and that is something the eJuices.com team would love to know; can you bring two of your favorite eJuices around?). Miguel “Mike 808” Risueno, the head of inventions at Production Club, described the suit in more detail. “It’s a half suit that kind of takes your safety and your security in terms of being close to airborne particles or viruses to the next level. We need to make sure that people want to wear it and they feel good about wearing it. So it’s a little bit more of a fashion piece rather than something that looks like a medical device.”

The COVID-19 pandemic and vaping itself have been locking horns recently in the news. However, the Micrashell might be able to change the literal state of vape forever if it becomes commercially successful. The astronaut-looking suit could serve as a sort of compromise between vaping and the pandemic, bringing vaping into your own personal space. The eJuices.com team believes that vaping is largely a personal experience, and you can do what you want with it, whether you vape nicotine salts or any flavor profile you want.

The vaping is in canister form on the website, which may prompt eJuice manufacturers to experiment with new methods of storing vape juice. Vape hardware manufacturers may take inspiration from the Micrashell and create their own version of a “vaping suit” that could appeal to vaping enthusiasts around the world.

The Micrashell is intended to be rented out at nightclubs, concerts, and other mass gatherings. We see great potential for it as a new vaping experience that can spark innovation in the vaping industry. This could also potentially change the status of outdoor (and indoor) vaping bans, although it is unknown at the time of this writing what that would be as the Micrashell is still in the prototype stage.
